Overview
We are seeking a Estimating Coordinator to join our team in Portland OR.
Your role
The estimating coordinator provides document control services to assist the estimating team. Key tasks include:
Retrieve documentation which includes the following from the General Contractor: Drawings specification Bids quotes Notes BIM files.
Build filing structure for documentation for estimator to access.
Update tracking log with new information from the project team.
Update savings log.
Interact with customer and General contractor retrieve information reconciliation and estimates.
Perform technical assignments to support related company projects. Utilizes versatility and analytical ability as required to perform technical assignments.
Support estimators in estimating and reconciliations.
Decision making (Supervision received; independent judgment or initiative; consequence of error): Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established procedures. Supervisor provides guidance.
Work direction given to others (Titles and number of personnel; type of direction given):May give work direction to support staff who assist in specific assignments.
Internal contacts (Required interaction/relationship with others within the organization):Interfaces with technical staff.
External contacts (Required interaction/relationship with others outside the organization):Limited external contacts outside of the project.
About you
Education and experience:
High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four years related experience.
Special skills:
Should be articulate have clear and analytical approach to problem solving and good decision-making abilities.
Must generally understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet Intranet Microsoft Windows OS Adobe Acrobat Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Should have good communication skills.

Expected compensation range is between $80000-$90000 annually depending on skills experience and geographical location.
