Education:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with an emphasis in Accounting

Must be able to read and understand financial statements.

Work Experience:

One to three years of accounting experience; manufacturing operation experience preferred.

Principal Area ofResponsibility:

This position is for an accounting professional that will use critical thinking and communication skills to apply accounting theory and knowledge. This position will apply skills to specific areas such as cost accounting manufacturing analysis account reconciliations and accounting policy compliance for PCC Airfoils. This individual must ensure accuracy of financial statements by providing accurate accounting of transactions in area of responsibility in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and PCC corporate policies.

Specific Duties:

• Assist with month end closing processes maintain the general ledger generate monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and internal reports and provide summaries and recommendations to management regarding financial activities
• Prepare daily weekly monthly quarterly and annual reporting
• Develop a strong understanding of the Financial and ERP systems
• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members coworkers production staff and management
• Review and improve daily processes and tasks to expedite and improve workflow
• Perform job functions with minimal supervision
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers clients co-workers and supervisors
• Other duties and projects assigned

Physical Demands:

Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets office machinery etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator copy machine and computer printer.
