Job Summary

Seaman USD #345 has an opening for a Special Education paraprofessional at North FairviewElementary. This is a 3.25 hour per day position during the school year.

Candidate must have a high school diploma; college hours are helpful but not required. Candidatewill assist classroom teachers in providing support to all students as well as work with small groups of students.

Para educators in the low-incidence room assist students one-on-one typically with learning and social-emotional needs associated withanintellectual disability. Students are in the special education classroom but are also supportedwithin their general education classroom. Hours are part-time approximately 12:30p.m. - 4:00 p.m. but could vary. Starting salary is $15.65 per hour.
