About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citcos core business and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industrys most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Private Assets team you will be working with some of the industrys most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.



Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • You will primarilyprepare capital events for the Private Assets Funds including capital calls and distributions
  • Execute Waterfall calculations
  • Prepare Investor Capital Event Notices and other Investor Reporting
  • Execute the financial control elements covering assets liabilities income and expenses and equity
  • Monitor compliance with variousclient service level agreements including manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables
  • Review funds partnership agreements PPMs and other materials
  • Independently complete cash portfolio and capital reconciliations as needed and investigate and resolve any discrepancies
  • Provide support monthly or quarterly net asset value preparation as needed which includes Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations preparation
  • Assist with additional Fund Accounting tasks during peak periods
  • Assist with new client onboarding and new fund launches to successful completion
  • Participate in the fiscal year end audit process and provide information to auditors as required
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure that client needs are met
  • Implementation of efficiency initiatives in a timely manner
  • Generate ad hoc reports as required


Qualifications

About You:

  • You have aBachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or Economics.
  • 2 - 3 years of fund accounting experience in either aPrivate Equity/Assets Fund Private Equity/Assets Administrator or other financial institution where the accountant has gained financial products knowledge
  • Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (EspeciallyExcel and Word) experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform highly desirable

Salary Range: CAD $68000-$86000
