Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Milford MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities ensuring their comfort safety and well-being while promoting their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor client condition and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Document care provided and client progress accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care-giving or support role preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients families and team members.
• Compassionate patient and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation is a plus.
