Position: Full-Time Live-Out Family Assistant
Schedule: 45 days per week either 10:00am6:00pm or 11:00am7:00pm
Salary: $35$50 per hour DOE depending on experience skill set and scope of responsibilities (approximately 3240 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP

A busy couple in Stamford CT is seeking a proactive organized and flexible Family Assistant to help manage both household operations and administrative support for their animal-related business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented resourceful and enjoys keeping a home running smoothly while also assisting with day-to-day business needs.

One of the principals works from home and they are seeking someone who can take initiative anticipate needs and become a reliable right-hand person in both the home and business.

Home Size: 3-bedroom 3-bathroom home
Pets: Must love animals and be comfortable working closely with dogs and cats
Household Staff: Deep cleaning team comes once per week

Responsibilities

Household Responsibilities

• Maintain organization throughout the home and keep spaces tidy and clutter-free
• Handle laundry folding and putting items away
• Meal prep and prepare simple healthy meals
• Run errands including grocery shopping returns and household pickups
• Coordinate with and oversee household vendors and service providers
• Help maintain an organized calm and efficiently run household environment

Business & Pet-Related Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling vet appointments and maintaining pet-related calendars
• Transport dogs and cats as needed
• Answer phones take messages and assist with general business communication
• Provide administrative support for the principals animal-related business
• Help maintain schedules appointments and daily logistics

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar Family Assistant or Household Assistant role
• Excellent references
• Legal to work in the United States
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Comfortable transporting dogs and cats
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Pleasant professional and flexible attitude
