Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Piping & Structural Designer / Drafter to support engineering and design activities for Hyperscale Data Center Modules. This role will work closely with Engineers and the Engineering Manager to develop high-quality drawings layouts BOMs and design documentation in accordance with customer specifications QA/QC standards and industry codes.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in EPC modular drafting & design piping and structural systems and proficiency with SolidWorks AutoCAD and Navisworks.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review mechanical piping and structural drawings and BOMs based on customer requirements.
- Develop bulk MTOs (Material Take-Offs) and detailed BOMs independently.
- Ensure compliance with Engineering standards and QA/QC requirements.
- Prepare layout drawings and equipment arrangement drawings.
- Create detailed deliverables including:
- Piping layouts and isometrics
- Structural GA drawings
- Pipe support details
- HVAC ducting drawings
- P&IDs and flow diagrams
- Equipment support and mounting details
- Platforms ladders walkways and stairs per OSHA standards
- Foundation and weld detail drawings
- Assist service teams by simulating field issues through drawings.
- Prepare Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) sequence drawings and procedures.
- Compile installation procedures for customer submission.
- Coordinate and supervise outsourced engineering design work.
- Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with client specifications and standards.
- Generate reports and extract model data for project teams and clients.
- Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and process updates.
Qualifications
Education
- Technical Certification in Design Discipline or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical piping and structural design.
- Experience working in Hyperscale Data Center Modules or similar industrial environments.
- Ability to create sketches and conceptual layouts.
- Strong experience with CAD and BIM software.
- Experience with high-density data centers is highly preferred.
