We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated and highly skilled Mammoth Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for occupational therapy treatment formulation of a treatment plan and goals and administration of the occupational therapy treatments. The Occupational Therapist shall be active in outpatient services and shall interact with all hospital departments and medical staff. What youll do: 1:1 patient care with one 45 min appointment every hour Performs appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient s diagnosis. Sets measurable goals and functional outcomes based on the evaluation with input from the physician patient and family members as appropriate. Develops a logical treatment program based on the assessment. Reassesses and revises the treatment plan as necessary at the minimum every 6 weeks. Performs occupational therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis. Demonstrates use of physical modalities appropriate to the diagnosis. Documents progress reports for patients seen for multiple occupational therapy visits in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits and to assist with compliance for insurance carriers and utilization review companies for authorization and reimbursement.
