Room Leader
Salary: 40 hours per week
Are you an experienced and passionate childcare professional ready to take the next step in your career Our client is looking for a dedicated Room Leader to join their nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a room within a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive learn and develop with confidence.
The nursery caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years with dedicated rooms tailored to each age groups developmental needs. The spacious outdoor area encourages children to explore play and use their imagination.
What Were Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Experience leading a room or supporting room management
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication leadership and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the day-to-day running of the room ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Create a safe stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to childrens developmental stages and interests.
- Observe assess and monitor childrens progress to support their individual learning journeys.
- Build strong partnerships with parents carers and colleagues to meet each childs needs.
- Support and mentor team members within the room promoting a positive and collaborative environment.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met.
