Room Leader

Salary: 40 hours per week

Are you an experienced and passionate childcare professional ready to take the next step in your career Our client is looking for a dedicated Room Leader to join their nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a room within a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive learn and develop with confidence.

The nursery caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years with dedicated rooms tailored to each age groups developmental needs. The spacious outdoor area encourages children to explore play and use their imagination.

What Were Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Experience leading a room or supporting room management
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Excellent communication leadership and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the day-to-day running of the room ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Create a safe stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to childrens developmental stages and interests.
• Observe assess and monitor childrens progress to support their individual learning journeys.
• Build strong partnerships with parents carers and colleagues to meet each childs needs.
• Support and mentor team members within the room promoting a positive and collaborative environment.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met.
