About the Role
The Technical Officer Scientific Nursing is a handson dynamic role at the heart of nursing education delivery. Youll be instrumental in creating highquality industryaligned clinical learning environments by preparing and maintaining labs equipment and resources that bring practical nursing skills to life. Working closely with teaching staff youll ensure every class is set up for success and reflects realworld clinical practice.

From managing equipment and supplies to supporting safe innovative learning spaces youll play a vital role in shaping future nurses and supporting lifechanging education outcomes across TAFE NSW.

Essential Requirements
- A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)
- Current registration as Registered Nurse or are an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Medication Administration Certificate.
Mental Health Nursing Medication Administration Certificate.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current nursing practice including the use of appropriate equipment in nursing procedures medical terminology and infection control principles
- Demonstrated experience in administration including inventory management purchase and maintenance of equipment and basic financial recording
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work as a member of a team with minimal supervision in area relating to the role
