Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
• Assist in the analysis design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
• Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
• Participate in the infrastructure architecture governance model.
• Support design and deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization consolidation TCO security regulatory compliance and application system qualities for different businesses.
• Research and evaluate emerging technology industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
• Coach and mentor team members
  
  Core Responsibilities:
• Manage maintain and optimize network monitoring and automation platforms (e.g. LogicMonitor NetBrain ThousandEyes).
• Develop and enhance integrations using Python Groovy or shell scripting (RESTful APIs automation workflows).
• Ensure monitoring coverage alerting accuracy and data quality across tools and device inventory.
• Collaborate with Network Operations Tools and Service Management teams to improve processes and workflows.
• Support IT Operations teams in implementing monitoring standards best practices and operational documentation.
• Utilize Linux/Unix systems for administration scripting and service/process management.
• Work within ITSM processes (ServiceNow or similar) following ITIL guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree.
• Proven experience in a similar role.

Core Requirements

• Strong general networking knowledge
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration (server management processes services)
• Strong problemsolving and network troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of standard network protocols: TCP/IP SNMP MIBs DNS HTTP
• Experience with Python/Groovy/Shell scripting (RESTful API integrations automation Bruno/Postman)
• Hands-on experience with LogicMonitor or similar network monitoring tools
• Experience with NetBrain and ThousandEyes (or equivalent tools)
• Background in Network and IT Operations
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
• Basic ITIL awareness
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Business Acumen:

• Understand key cross-functional concepts that impact the organization; is aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (Cisco IOS/XE/NXOS Viptela SDWAN Meraki) firewalls load balancers
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible/AWX
• Experience with Infoblox NetMRI or comparable tools

Leadership:

• Familiar with concepts of costing hardware and software components. Works to assure work is on-time and within budget.
• Delivers tasks on-time with alignment to architectural goals. Can identify and raise issues risks and benefits.
• Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback.

Pay Range

For Poland based positions Annual Salary Range: 281280 PLN - 386 760 PLN
