Position Overview
CGI is seeking an experienced AWS Integration Architect to drive cloud-native and event-driven integration initiatives across enterprise retail ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS integration services API-led architecture microservices and hybrid cloud integrations.
The role requires hands-on technical expertise with the ability to design scalable cloud architectures while also contributing to development activities when required. The candidate will work closely with enterprise systems retail platforms Salesforce OMS and eCommerce applications to deliver secure resilient and high-performing integration solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
Design and own AWS-native integration architectures using API-led event-driven and microservices-based approaches.
Build and implement integrations using AWS services such as:
oAWS Lambda
oAPI Gateway
oEventBridge
oSQS/SNS
oStep Functions
oAWS Glue
Integrate enterprise retail systems Salesforce SaaS platforms OMS eCommerce platforms and payment systems.
Lead hybrid integration initiatives connecting on-premise applications with AWS cloud environments.
Drive cloud migration strategies and integration modernization initiatives.
Ensure scalability resilience availability and security of integration solutions using AWS best practices and IAM policies.
Guide development teams on API standards integration design principles and DevOps/IaC methodologies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders enterprise architects and technical teams to deliver robust cloud integration solutions.
Support CI/CD automation monitoring and operational excellence initiatives across cloud integration platforms.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on expertise in AWS integration services and event-driven architectures.
Experience designing API-led and microservices-based integration solutions.
Strong knowledge of:
oAWS Lambda
oAPI Gateway
oEventBridge
oSQS/SNS
oStep Functions
oAWS Glue
Proven experience integrating large enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.
Strong understanding of data integration concepts including ETL S3 Glue and Redshift.
Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise to AWS integration strategies.
Programming experience in Python Java or .
Strong understanding of security IAM scalability and cloud architecture best practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).

Good-to-Have Skills

Retail domain experience.
AWS Solutions Architect Certification (Associate or Professional).
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation frameworks.
