Role and Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of packaging associates.

Provide guidance training and support to team members.

Ensure that the team meets production goals and quality standards.

Collaborate with production planning teams to schedule packaging activities based on production requirements.

Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.

Implement and enforce quality control procedures for packaging processes.

Monitor packaging lines to ensure products meet quality standards.

Address any issues related to packaging quality promptly.

Oversee the operation and maintenance of packaging machinery.

Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment issues and schedule preventive maintenance.

Maintain accurate records of packaging activities including production volumes downtime and quality control measures.

Generate reports for management on packaging performance and efficiency.

Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling.

Communicate regularly with other department leads and managers to ensure smooth coordination of production activities.

Address any issues or concerns raised by team members.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

4 or more years of experience.

Preferred Skills

Combination of technical knowledge leadership skills and attention to detail to ensure the efficient and effective packaging of products.
