Lynas Rare Earths is seeking a motivated Graduate Metallurgist to join our Mt Weld Operations. This is a FIFO position from Perth to our Mt Weld Operations on an 8/6 roster.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in mineral processing plant optimisation metallurgical test work and continuous improvement within a supportive team environment.
As a highly valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team you will:
- Monitor and analyse plant performance data
- Support metallurgical test work and process investigations
- Assist with reporting and metallurgical accounting
- Work closely with Operations Maintenance and Process Control teams
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and optimisation projects
- Contribute to safe and efficient plant operations
What you will bring to the team:
- Degree in Metallurgy Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- 02 years experience in mining metallurgy or process engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster
- Full Australian working rights
