Job Summary
Mayo Clinics Department of Ophthalmology in Scottsdale Arizonais seeking a boardeligible /boardcertified fellowshiptrained vitreoretinal surgeonto join our practice. This position offers the opportunity to build a busy medical and surgical retina practicewithin Mayo Clinics collaborative missiondriven academic environment. Additional niche expertise is desirable.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional surgical proficiency experience in multidisciplinary teamwork a strong commitment to teaching and active participation in clinical research. Candidates should have an interest in academic medicine and contributing to education and scholarship at a national academic medical center.
Qualifications
- Boardcertified or boardeligible in Ophthalmology
- Fellowshiptrained in vitreoretinal surgery
- MD or DO (or equivalent)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Arizona
