PM Shift - Part Time Available
A Banquet Set-up person is responsible preparing banquet space for all banquet functions in a timely friendly and efficient manner in our continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for moving tables chairs staging and any other banquet equipment with proper use of hand trucks carts and dollies in a safe manner.
- Set up banquet rooms exactly as the contract states: this includes chairs tables staging skirting of tables water stations buffets etc.
- Responsible for the breakdown and storage of furniture and equipment upon completion of banquet catering functions. This includes cleaning and vacuuming meeting rooms.
- Treat guests with courtesy friendliness and respect and provide responsive service.
- Communicates with the Catering department for information on changes in events and adjusts as necessary.
- Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities
Qualifications:
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job staying on your feet climbing stairs carrying heavyweights.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings late nights weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 30lbs. Push pull or move 300lbs.
