About the Team

The Workday Success Plans Delivery Team at Workday plays a crucial role in ensuring customers maximize the value they get from their Workday products. We focus on our customers post go-live journey assuring long-term success. We deliver a variety of programs and services ranging from feature assessments to full feature deployments to support their growing and changing business needs within Workday.

About the Role

We are seeking people who love to help customers overcome enterprise technology challenges and who feel rewarded by driving high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate helps people to understand tough concepts facilitating collaboration on effective solutions. Our focus is on helping customers to get the most value from their Workday investment through the delivery of a variety of innovative services.

    • Provide Expert Configuration & Guidance: Develop and demonstrate system configuration solutions articulating product capabilities and the benefits and risks of design decisions.

    • Manage Concurrent Projects: Support multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects.

    • Promote Customer Self-Sufficiency: Help customers become more self-sufficient stabilize and optimize their Workday applications and learn about new features. (The variety of services and unexpected challenges keeps the job exciting and fresh.)

    • Share Expertise via Ask-an-Expert Requests by:

      • Conducting thorough research to understand customer questions and related Workday concepts.

      • Delivering small scope consulting providing configuration guidance demonstrations and best practices (tips & tricks).

      • Troubleshooting and optimizing product configuration to meet customer business requirements.

      • Clearly and effectively communicating responses and value to customers.

    • Additional Services that our consultants deliver include:

      • Optimization Packages: Offering tailored one-on-one guidance to inform and guide customers along a path to success.

      • Collaboration Crews: Facilitating group customer sharing discussions.

      • Accelerator Webinars: Creating and delivering presentations on leveraging Workday features to achieve business goals.

      • Feature Accelerator: Providing one-on-one consulting to accelerate customer feature adoption.

About You

Basic Qualifications -Senior Functional Consultant HCM Reporting

  • 5 years of experience with the one or more of the following Workday Reporting & Analytics product areas: Workday Report Writer Prism Analytics Composite Reporting Calculated Fields Dashboards Discovery Boards and Worksheets

  • 5 years of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME

  • 5 years of HCM Reporting Analytics and Data warehousing experience for enterprise software applications

Basic Qualifications -Functional Consultant HCM Reporting

  • 3 years of experience with one or more of the following Workday Reporting & Analytics product areas: Workday Report Writer Prism Analytics Composite Reporting Calculated Fields Dashboards Discovery Boards and Worksheets

  • 3 years of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME

  • 3 years of HCM Reporting Analytics and Data warehousing experience for enterprise software applications


Other Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a solid grasp of HCM reporting systems and processes.

  • Certified or ability to certify in Workday Reporting products and to effectively deploy the solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with global implementations is preferred

  • The ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously

  • Experience with influencing interacting and collaborating with senior leaders internally and externally

  • Capable of leading and influencing design meetings toward an effective and collaborative outcome

  • Ability to work multi-functional as a virtual team leader and possess strong and effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to customize approach for a variety of audiences

  • Ability to deliver and get results while managing to a project plan

  • Ability to perform effective product demonstrations as part of any enablement program

  • Experience implementing Workday SAP Oracle PeopleSoft or similar software applications

  • Experience working with BI Tools (Tableau QlikView Cognos Business Objects)

  • Understanding of data modeling concepts with an ability to manipulate data using software tools and SQL

  • Ability to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are released

  • Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for our customers

  • Strong critical thinking skills so as to understand complex technical process issues and facilitate/influence decision making

  • Bachelors degree or related experience required

  • Ability to travel up to 10%


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidates compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to geography experience skills job duties and business need among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $122800 USD - $184200 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $111000 USD - $197300 USD
