We are seeking a Director Consulting Delivery to lead a high-profile managed service supporting one of our key clients as part of a DALAS Application Services contract delivering critical applications that underpin the UK justice system. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a recently mobilised service driving operational excellence continuous improvement and modernisation at scale. Youll work alongside senior leaders across CGI and our client to enhance resilience optimise delivery and introduce emerging technologies including AI and automation while empowering teams to deliver meaningful outcomes across a critical national infrastructure programme.

Due to the secure nature of the programme you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role you will lead the successful delivery and evolution of a major Agile managed service contract within the Justice Sector. Youll take accountability for service performance financial management stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement across a portfolio of business-critical applications. Working closely with senior CGI and client stakeholders youll shape a high-performing delivery model that drives operational resilience innovation and measurable business value.
You will play a pivotal role in modernising services through automation AI and improved engineering practices while fostering a collaborative high-performing culture across a team of 30 professionals. This role offers significant strategic exposure and the opportunity to contribute to wider sector growth initiatives transformation programmes and future leadership pathways within CGI.
Key responsibilities:
Lead & Deliver high-quality managed service outcomes aligned to KPIs SLAs and client expectations
Drive & Optimise operational performance service stability and continuous improvement initiatives
Own & Manage financial performance including forecasting cost optimisation and commercial governance
Build & Strengthen trusted client and stakeholder relationships across client and partner organisations
Modernise & Innovate application services using Agile delivery AI automation and emerging technologies
Manage & Mitigate risks issues dependencies and supplier relationships proactively
Develop & Inspire high-performing teams through coaching capability development and succession planning
Collaborate & Contribute across the Justice Sector to support strategic growth and transformation objectives
Improve & Evolve delivery models to enhance scalability resilience and user outcomes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
To succeed in this role youll bring extensive leadership experience delivering large-scale Agile managed services within complex environments. You should be commercially astute confident managing senior stakeholders and experienced in driving service transformation operational excellence and continuous improvement. A strong understanding of modern delivery models AI-enabled innovation and public sector delivery environments will be highly beneficial.
Essential qualifications and experience:
Significant experience leading complex managed service contracts and delivery organisations
Strong commercial and financial management expertise including P&L ownership and forecasting
Proven ability to manage senior client stakeholders and build trusted partnerships
Demonstrable experience driving service optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience leading Agile squad-based or product-aligned delivery teams
Ability to balance operational stability with innovation and transformation
Strong leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams
Familiarity with service management and delivery tooling such as Jira Halo or similar platforms
Experience working within regulated or public sector environments is highly desirable
