Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist - TSS
The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) in Digital Science is responsible for providing technical support to account managers with a focus on growing revenue streams and developing new business. The roles technical responsibilities include the analysis of requirements responses to RFx technical consultancy and the preparation and delivery of demonstrations of the Digital Science software portfolio for LIMS SDMS ELN and integration solutions. This position shares a sales quota with the broader team across the EMEA region.
The TSS also influences cross-functional teams including product management solutions development and services to help ensure annual booking revenue and growth targets are met. Success in this role is driven by a strong work ethic commercial awareness relationship-building skills an understanding of key markets and a commitment to achieving ambitious targets.
As a crucial member of the DSAS sales team the TSS contributes to driving digital transformation enabling customers to accelerate production improve product quality make faster process decisions and protect their brands.

Remotely based in any major city in Spain.
What will you do
Respond efficiently and promptly to customer requests clarify customers business challenges and provide technical assessments throughout the entire sales cycle.
Build relationships at multiple levels across customer organisations establishing strong technical credibility with accounts.
Prepare and deliver engaging compelling and focused technical demonstrations.
Demonstrate sufficient technical and business knowledge to present a strong value proposition to customers.
Understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and contribute to the development of effective strategies to address opportunities and overcome obstacles.
Participate in global meetings to share best practices and occasionally assist with technical training.
Actively collaborate in the maintenance and evolution of demonstration systems and share innovative technical developments with peers.

A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills strong business acumen and a solid understanding of science and digital solutions for laboratories. The individual will be able to understand and relate to technical product capabilities and requirements demonstrate technological proficiency and take a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
The candidate is expected to be driven motivated a strong team player and possess a high degree of emotional intelligence. They must show flexibility in remote working patterns including participation in global calls and be willing to travel up to 2550%. The individual will consistently honour commitments and strive to build positive professional relationships with customers colleagues and senior leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Requires a bachelors degree in any life science-related field or four additional years of equivalent proven experience.
Language
Fluency in English & Spanish - additional language skills are highly desirable.
Role success profile:
Experience: 2 years technical sales experience preferably in Laboratory Software Solutions such as LIMS ELN or SDMS working with industries such as life science pharmaceutical biotech environmental food & beverage and/or chemicals.
Experience and knowledge of enterprise scientific software demonstrations. Familiarity with commercial operations in complex sales cycles.
