Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Research Navigator to support and advance clinical and operational research initiatives across our organization and the Gundersen Medical Foundation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into meaningful data-driven outcomes that improve patient care and operational excellence.

Position Overview

The Research Navigator serves as a key partner to clinicians operational leaders and learners by guiding research and quality improvement projects from concept through completion. This role blends project management research methodology and data analysis to ensure projects are executed efficiently rigorously and with measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate clinical and operational questions into structured measurable research studies
• Lead research and quality improvement projects from concept development through execution and dissemination
• Develop project plans establish timelines and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Identify data sources support data collection and analysis and interpret findings into actionable insights
• Proactively identify and remove barriers to keep projects on track
• Develop research protocols tools and documentation to ensure methodological rigor
• Support scholarly dissemination efforts including abstracts manuscripts presentations and posters
• Provide guidance and mentorship to staff clinicians and learners on research design methods and data interpretation

Position Overview:

• 1.0 FTE 40 hours a week
• Monday - Friday Days
• Location: La Crosse Wisconsin
• Starting salary of $59800 more for experience

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required in statistics STEM field public health sociology psychology or a health-related field
• 3-5 years experience in research coordination project management or healthcare analytics
• Strong understanding of research methodology study design and quality improvement principles
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret quantitative data
• Excellent organizational communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
