Job Summary

Kickstart your career in operations as a Facilities Operations Coordinator IIan exciting entry-level role where youll play a key part in keeping day-to-day facility operations running this position youll gain hands-on experience supporting capital projects through financial and administrative coordination including tracking expenditures contributing to budgeting and forecasting efforts and helping drive accurate reporting. Youll also be at the center of operations managing facilities systems and coordinating service requests maintenance and infrastructure repairs to ensure everything runs efficiently. This role offers a unique opportunity to build valuable skills across operations finance and project coordination while making a real impact from day one perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized solving problems and being part of what keeps everything moving.

What you will do

• Manage expense administration for the full lifecycle of Facility Operations Capital projects in ERP from initial project request and in-service to closeout and completion. Handles all financial transactions including purchase orders invoicing and receipts. 30%

• Monitors Capital project expense activities and provides timely updates to support budget planning forecasting and variance reporting. 30%

• Administer the facilities management software including scheduling monitoring and closing of work orders related to all work orders. Coordinate maintenance compliance and repair activities for building systems equipment and office infrastructure. Monitor and manage facility-related service requests and ensure timely resolution. 30%

• Support contract compliance efforts by meeting with internal team and contract providers to ensure all financial conditions are being met.

• Communicates effectively with internal customers project team management and supervisory personnel contracted service providers relative to support and services provided.

• Assists in the implementation of performance measures and evaluation systems for facility related Operating expenditures processes and services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

• Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energys Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors Degree Emphasis in facilities planning Project Management Business Administration or related field. Preferred

Required Experience

• 3 years in related technical and/or professional experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in facility planning and project management.

Pay Range:

This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
