Short Description
- Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals
- Provide hands-on orthopedic interventions including:
- Therapeutic exercise
- Manual therapy techniques
- Neuromuscular re-education
- Gait and balance training
- IASTYM / Kinesiotaping
- Modalities as indicated
- Educate patients and caregivers on diagnosis prognosis home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with clinic payer and regulatory guidelines
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare providers
- Ensure a high standard of patient satisfaction and quality of care
- Maintain a clean safe and organized treatment environment
- Participate in team meetings continuing education and clinic initiatives as required
Education Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
License/Certification Requirements
- Current state Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
- CPR certification and BLS
