National Product Manager (P&C)

We have an exciting opportunity for a National Product Manager (P&C) to join our growing our growing Product Team!

As the National Product Manager you will play a critical role in making product adjustments to existing products. Were seeking a strategic detail-oriented insurance professional with the drive to improve our products. The ideal candidate has the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment but equally capable of taking ownership and delivering independently. Youll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Orion180including Sales Claims and Customer Experienceto ensure products meet company standards.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Work with internal teams to identify products needing enhancements.
• Lead all aspects of desired changes (identifying planning and delivery).
• Research competitor filings to identify future opportunities.
• Create project timelines and oversee delivery milestones for related initiatives.
• Ensure accurate cross-departmental communication of form changes and implementation timelines.
• Monitor post-launch performance and adjust as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced innovative environment.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:

Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in similar work.

Industry Experience: 3 years of experience in property and casualty insurance.

Management Experience: 2 years of experience managing teams and projects. Proven positive leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage performance.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with product life cycles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint); experience with form automation tools a plus.

Communication Skills:Strong interpersonal collaboration and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectivelyboth written and verballyacross all levels of the organization.

Entrepreneurial Drive:Proven ability to achieve ambitious goals in an innovative and demanding environment.

Strategic Thinking:Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies informed by research data and industry trends.

The office environment is fast-paced and collaborative. An employee must be willing and able to work their regularly assigned work schedule onsite and in times of need be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs project requirements or customer demands.

While performing general duties for this position the employee is regularly required to sit stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking listening comprehending and reading; being able to lift light objects (<25 lbs); and using standard office equipment such as computers printers and addition there is an occasional need to bend twist or squat down to open/close cabinets and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
