JOB TITLE: SPECIAL EDUCATION BUSAIDEQUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrates aptitude for the work to be performed
REPORTS TO:Transportation Director
JOB GOAL:To help in providing a smoothly functioning transportation service for exceptional students.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists disabled students on and off the Special Bus.
- Secures the students in the seats of the bus.
- Maintains discipline on the bus.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the driver needs or the Director of Transportation may assign from time to time.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 173-day contract
- Salary to be established by the Board.
STATUS:
- Non-Exempt Support
EVALUATION:Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Boards policy of evaluation for classified personnel.
