About the role

• Assist the Production Supervisor with leading a mining crew to safely and efficiently deliver production results
• Carry out effective inspection and reporting processes in accordance with relevant site policies and procedures
• Co-ordination of production operators and equipment to deliver the production schedule
• Conduct mining practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Actively seek continuous improvement

About you

• Previous experience asCrew Leading Hand in an open-cut mining environment is preferred
• Previous experience acting as a Step-Up Mining Supervisor in an open-cut mining environment is highly regarded
• A solid understanding of the processes involved with open cut mining
• Great organisational communication and presentation skills coupled with approachable and motivational qualities
• Proven leadership experience and people management skills is essential
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
