Qualifications / Requirements:

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of motor vehicle electrical components harnesses specifications manufacturing processes and testing methods

Technical and Behavioural Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and application of quality tools (DOE SPC FMEA 8D)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Effective communication and presentation skills at all organisational levels
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally; valid drivers licence required

Key Performance Areas:

• Initiate and manage the qualifying programme for new electrical part introductions
• Ensure continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Test and evaluate electrical components and harnesses to confirm compliance with specifications
• Provide technical expertise on materials function and design of electrical parts
• Initiate and support design improvements for complex electrical quality issues
• Apply quality tools to support problem resolution and process improvement
• Interface with internal departments and suppliers to resolve quality-related deviations
