Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures screening entry requests and following security-related policies for a government location.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verify identification and credentials and document visitor contractor and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Communicate with site contacts staff and/or local authorities regarding access issues policy questions and security-related concerns that arise during the shift.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points lobbies and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report maintenance lighting and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with DPSS/DHS COLA requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
