Registered Nurse Medical Surgical
Location: Saratoga Springs NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift 3x12s 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in Saratoga Springs New York. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment and are comfortable caring for a diverse adult patient population.
The selected candidate will provide high-quality bedside care collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float within scope of practice based on patient care needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Perform patient assessments medication administration and treatment interventions
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers
- Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians case managers and support staff
- Adhere to hospital safety infection prevention and patient care standards
- Float to appropriate units based on staffing and patient care needs
Requirements
- Active New York RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
