We are currently partnering with a growing and reputable residential childcare provider who is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a childrens home supporting young people with complex needs.
This is a key leadership role within an established and expanding organisation offering the opportunity to take full responsibility for a well-supported service and make a genuine impact on young peoples lives.
The Role:
As Registered Manager you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the childrens home ensuring the service consistently meets Ofsted standards and delivers high-quality person-centred care.
You will lead a dedicated staff team ensuring strong safeguarding practices effective care planning and a stable supportive environment for young people with complex needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full operational management of a childrens residential home
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Childrens Homes Quality Standards
- Leading supervising and developing the staff team
- Maintaining strong safeguarding practices across the service
- Overseeing care plans risk assessments and placement outcomes
- Managing staffing rotas and day-to-day operational delivery
- Liaising with external professionals local authorities and stakeholders
- Ensuring accurate and compliant documentation and reporting
The successful candidate will bring proven leadership experience within childrens residential care and a strong understanding of compliance and safeguarding frameworks.
You will have:
- Experience managing a childrens residential home (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong safeguarding and compliance background
- Ability to manage complex care environments effectively
- Must be based in London
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Salary up to 53000 per annum
