Position Overview
Junior IT Support
Position Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for end users including hardware software and basic network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to desktops laptops printers operating systems and standard business applications.
- Assist with the setup configuration and deployment of workstations peripherals and software.
- Support user account management including onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Assist with system updates patches and basic maintenance tasks.
- Document incidents solutions and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
- Provide basic training and guidance to end users on IT tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on local and global IT initiatives.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the manager.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cinema/film as well as:
- Previous experience in an IT Support Help Desk or similar entry-level role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware operating systems and common software applications.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS; basic Linux knowledge is a plus.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN Wi-Fi VPN).
- Willingness to learn troubleshooting methodologies and IT support best practices.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization or cloud environments is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A ITIL Foundation Microsoft fundamentals or similar) are a plus.
- Technical degree vocational training or studies in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) are desirable.
