Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant - PCC/MA
Our client is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant (PCC/MA) to support both clinical and administrative operations across our East Coast clinics. This role is ideal for someone who is organized adaptable and passionate about delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced PCC/MA to assist with front office coordination patient intake scheduling rooming vitals provider support and clinic flow. This position combines administrative and clinical responsibilities to help ensure efficient operations accurate documentation and a positive patient experience. The selected candidate will primarily support the West Palm Beach clinic and may assist nearby clinic locations as needed for coverage.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients professionally
- Complete patient intake medical history and consent documentation
- Schedule appointments follow-ups and procedures
- Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Prepare and clean exam rooms and equipment
- Monitor and maintain medical supplies and inventory
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR
- Assist with chart preparation and order entry
- Coordinate recommendations and documentation with Case Management
- Provide excellent patient service and address patient questions
- Support billing accuracy through proper documentation and charge entry
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and a clean organized workspace
Requirements:
- Monday Friday schedule (9:00 AM 5:00 PM)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification required
- Phlebotomy experience required
- 13 years of healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication organization and multitasking skills
- Comfortable balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Must meet Florida AHCA background screening requirements
