Job Description:

Microchip has an opening for an experienced semiconductor Fab Production Specialist in their Colorado Springs Probe/Test facility.

We are building a team of positive and productive people that have a passion to work hard and enjoy what we do and the people that we work with.

Shift: 3rd Monday-Friday 10:45PM-7:15AM

Job Responsibilities

• Supports Microchips Guiding Values and Culture.
• Learn to operate various handlers and testers on the Test floor.
• Be able to understand verbal and written instructions to complete lots via COMETS SPTRs and emailed instructions.
• You will need to communicate with the appropriate people when the equipment and processes do not meet the specified limits or are not working correctly.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Maintain and exhibit positive and productive attitudes and behavior with others.
• Willingness to participate in building a positive culture and contribute to a pleasant work environment.
• The ability to work on multiple different tasks throughout the day by focusing on one task at a time and paying careful attention to detail until completed then quickly moving on to the next task.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Adaptability to change and a willingness to do whatever is needed for the team to be successful.
• Are a continuous learner with desire to enhance his/her skills and knowledge.
• Produces quality work takes the job seriously and displays good work habits.
• Take the initiative to stay busy work hard and be productive.

• Ability to wear and work in a smock PPE and ESD strap during shift.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks while paying careful attention to detail and completing one thing at a time.
• Prior success working individually and in a team environment.
• Demonstration of ability to effectively prioritize and support multiple different demands throughout the scheduled work hours.
• Ability to follow direction (both written and verbal).
• Ability to read comprehend and follow detailed work specifications for each piece of equipment.
• Proficiency in written and oral communication.
• Availability to work M-F shift currently with flexibility to change to compressed schedule in future when needed.
• Good computer math and reading comprehension skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform work while wearing a smock coat hair net face mask and nitrile gloves for up to 7 hours per shift.
