We are seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a Head Start/Early Head Start center while ensuring a safe supportive and developmentally appropriate environment for children families and staff.
Success in this role requires strong leadership effective communication sound judgment and the ability to maintain compliance with federal state and local regulations while supporting high-quality early childhood programming and family engagement services.

WHAT YOULL DO
- Oversee daily center operations to ensure compliance with all applicable ODJFS licensing requirements Head Start Performance Standards and Agency policies and procedures
- Serve as the center administrator responsible for licensing compliance regulatory oversight and maintenance of the centers Step Up to Quality rating
- Collaborate with fiscal staff and families regarding fee collection and related program requirements as applicable
- Address and resolve concerns or complaints from families and staff in a timely professional and solution-oriented manner
- Supervise teaching staff through ongoing coaching classroom observations monitoring and performance support to ensure quality programming and compliance with required staff-to-child ratios
- Establish and maintain effective communication and collaborative working relationships with staff families and community partners
- Ensure a safe healthy and developmentally appropriate classroom and center environment that supports the well-being of children and families including periodic classroom support as needed
- Promote teamwork and facilitate the integration of services through consistent application of program policies procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation records and reports in accordance with program standards licensing requirements and Agency expectations
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support program operations and organizational objectives
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development Family and Consumer Science Education or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may also be considered
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferably within an early childhood education or human services environment
- Valid State of Ohio drivers license and ability to remain insurable in accordance with Agency policy
- Knowledge of ODJFS licensing requirements Head Start Performance Standards and Step Up to Quality standards and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook Word and Excel and the ability to utilize online systems databases and reporting platforms

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position primarily operates in an administrative and supervisory capacity within a Head Start/Early Head Start center environment. Responsibilities are primarily performed in an office setting and include regular interaction with staff children families and community partners.
The position also requires periodic participation in classroom activities and direct classroom support to ensure appropriate staffing ratios program compliance and continuity of operations.
The employee may be exposed to typical office materials and equipment as well as conditions commonly associated with early childhood education settings including elevated noise levels frequent movement throughout the center and potential exposure to communicable illnesses.
The position requires the ability to sit stand walk bend stoop and occasionally lift or move children classroom materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
In accordance with U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings this position is classified as sedentary to light work.
