Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY
The position supports the handling of incoming sales opportunities and ensures that business is handed over accurately and within required timelines for proper service delivery. Contributes to daily sales-related activities focusing on maintaining and supporting long-term value-based customer relationships that help achieve sales objectives. Works toward achieving individual sales targets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Marketing Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
OR
4-year bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major; 3 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Supporting Relationship Management for Sales Opportunities
Cooperates with off-property sales channels to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of sales activities.
Maintains relationships with existing and potential customers to support future bookings (e.g. sales calls events trade shows).
Participates in community-related activities to contribute to the expansion of the customer base.
Maintains working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Assists in providing accurate and complete turnover to Event Management.
Supporting Sales Activities
Joins sales calls with team members to assist in acquiring or closing business.
Supports operational aspects of booked business (e.g. preparing proposals contracts customer communication).
Applying Market Knowledge to Support Revenue Goals
Contributes to identifying business opportunities aligned with revenue targets.
Maintains awareness of market conditions including competitors trends and demand.
Supports closing opportunities based on location needs and market conditions.
Develops understanding of target customers and their expectations to better support business solutions.
Providing Customer Service Support
Supports the companys service strategy and contributes to maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Services existing customers to help grow account share.
Follows company customer service standards.
Delivers customer service in line with daily operational expectations.
Contributes to a positive guest experience.
Interacts with guests to collect feedback on product quality and service levels.
