Production & Packaging Operator (Forklift Experience Preferred)

• Full-time work is about 14- 15 days per month!

What a Day in the Life is Like

A typical day as an operator includes:

• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly during the workday as part of the jobs regular duties
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Protect the customer. Manage product quality by adherence to product specifications GMPs & Sanitation Guidelines FM prevention HACCP and assisting with inline routine sanitation area sanitation & tool inspection.
• Protecting yourself and others and participation in regular safety/sanitation inspections maintaining orderliness of work areas and ensuring proper Lock Tag and Try of equipment.
• Performing cleaning with the use of high-pressure hoses and cleaning agents on machinery product belts floors pipes and walls. Also performing dry cleaning where applicable.
• Employee Development. Operator is responsible for the training of all team members in safety sanitation and job duties in their area. Responsible to ensure that all upgrades in the area are trained and qualified to perform the essential duties of this position in their absence.
• Audit process data paperwork and computer entries for completeness and accuracy.
• Observing all machinery for safe operations in the assigned area.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in company-sponsored training processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Operator experience
• The ability to consistently lift or move 50lbs
• Forklift Experience
• Ability to read write and understand simple correspondence as well as communicate in small group situations.
