Education:

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starting Information Technology professional with a minimum BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in developing implementing maintaining troubleshooting and supporting infrastructurenetwork architectures

Must Have Skills:

Network Engineer with expertise in Meraki Viptela and FortiGate firewall

Strong technical discovery solution design and documentation skills.

Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols technologies and standards including TCP/IP BGP OSPF MPLS QoS SDN and SDWAN.

Strong understanding of network security principles best practices and compliance requirements including Firewall VPNs IDS/IPS and encryption.

Strong understanding on Meraki network design template & configuration binding.

Manage and optimize Meraki MX MS and MR networks using Meraki Dashboard.

Fortinet Cisco and/or Aruba certifications ( CCNA CCNPCCIE SDWAN ACSDP 300-415 ENSDWINSE)

Cisco Networking Hardware: Routers Swicthes Firewalls (Catalyst 6509-E Nexus etc.)

Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls including policy-based routing static and dynamic routing and redistribution.

Experience with network analysis and operational monitoringalerting tools (wireshark Solarwinds etc.)

Ability to productively work under minimal supervision

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary functions of the Senior Network Engineer include (but are not limited to):

Maintain networkconnectivitycloud and associated solutions

o Provide day-to-day operation support monitoring maintenance updates triage and troubleshooting for Enterprise Networking environment

o Provide expertise and collaboration on defining enterprise-wide technical design standards for network related technology solutions and propose solutions to leadership

o CreateMaintainUpdate enterprise network diagrams and documentation

o Research design review test and implement network related technologies and solutions

o Engage in solutions research and deployment systems standards internet services capacity planning Disaster Recovery platform upgradesmodernization and process improvement.

o Contribute to design of network related solutions and partner with Information Security and Compliance in review of all solutions against corporate security and compliance standards and requirements

o Design implement maintain and support Network Operational monitoringalerting platform(s) including Business driven dashboards metrics and KPI reporting to facilitate clear communication of network related performance across the enterprise

o IP Address space design

o External facing infrastructure fault-tolerance redundancy DR etc.

Work with internal departments and clients to determine requirements and then executedelegate required planssteps complete implementation.

o lead efforts with cross-functional teams on enterprise network impacting initiatives and implementations

o Oversee Network-related projects and initiatives planning and implementation

o Work with required areas and support staff to facilitate appropriate logistical planning communication and execution of network related initiatives

o Collaborate across business areas to assure compilation of necessary business requirements from stakeholders

o Review and assess impact of proposed changes to existing environment

o Participate in implementations and support of all open initiatives and implemented network related technology solutions

Provide Mentorship Training Vision

o Provide technical leadership for network related technologies and solutions

o Work with Company leadership to develop medium- and long-term strategies as the companys goals and needs evolve

o collaborate across the organization to perform solution impact assessment and set strategy for efforts with major business impact

o Maintain strong architectural expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products and evaluates for both general and specific usage

o Overseeing test plans networkconnectivity viability reviews performance metrics designimplementation and overall network strategy
