Location: Phoenix AZ 85007 (Hybrid) Position is hybrid - 2 days a week in office and 3 days a week remote
Duration: 12 Months
Slots: 4
Position: 2
Pay Rate: $35.39/hr on W2 All Inc
Bill Rate: $45.65/hr
Markup: 29%
Closing Date: 5/15/2026
M-F/8-5
40hrs/week
Tentative start date will be dependent upon interviews conducted onboarding completed and the state agency issuing a PO.
Local Only Candidates - Resumes must specify the current location of the candidate all those who do not state current location will not be considered. - AS A REMINDER - Candidates must be local at time of submission and available for in person interviews within 1 week of the posting close date. Candidates must also be able to start within 2 weeks of an offer being made.
Position Description:
Reconciling closing ADOT projects to ensure timely release of funds ensuring compliance with both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) rules and regulations analyzing and validating costs associated with project funding and interacting with federal agencies local governments and multiple ADOT departments.
Additional responsibilities include researching project issues providing solutions and making recommendations for process improvement as well as processing adjustments and preparing final voucher forms for submissions.
Skills and Knowledge Required
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Accounting Finance Business Administration or closely related field
1 year of accounting experience
Strong analytical skills in researching and resolving financial and technical data issues
Analyze and interpret contract and financial data
Apply Accounting and Auditing principles to project analysis
Good written and verbal communication
Microsoft Excel
