Java Fullstack Developer (Jr)

Role Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot Microservices and SSRS Reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable backend systems integrating enterprise services and working with relational databases and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Engineering

Design implement and maintain backend applications using Java Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Develop RESTful APIs and ensure robust integration across systems.

Build services with focus on scalability performance and fault tolerance.

Work with Spring Security Spring Data JPA Hibernate and other Spring modules.

Data & Reporting

Develop enhance and maintain SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports.

Write efficient SQL queries stored procedures and database logic.

Optimize database access and reporting performance.

Integrate reports into enterprise applications where required.

System Architecture & Collaboration

Participate in system design technical discussions and code reviews.

Help define and implement best practices for backend development.

Collaborate with architects QA engineers and cross-functional teams.

Provide support for production systems ensuring stability and reliability.

Required Skills :

Core Backend Skills

Strong working knowledge of Java 8 Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Cloud Microservices.

Hands-on experience with REST API development.

Strong understanding of OOP design patterns and modular architecture.

proficiency is a plus enabling seamless collaboration between backend services and frontend interfaces

Database & Reporting

Expertise in MS SQL Server.

SSRS report development and maintenance experience.

Knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).

Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB Cassandra) is a plus.

Cloud & Tools

Experience working with AWS / Azure / GCP environments (basic to intermediate).

Understanding of containerization (Docker Kubernetes exposure is a plus).

Strong familiarity with Git and version control best practices.

Additional Backend/Integration Skills (Optional but Advantageous)

Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.

Exposure to API gateways service mesh and distributed logging/monitoring tools (ELK Prometheus Grafana).

Knowledge of security protocols (OAuth2 JWT).
