Welder/Fabricator
1st Shift!

STARK COUNTY
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team. This role involves setting up assembling and welding a variety of metal alloys to precise specifications and drawings. Candidates should have experience with MIG TIG and brazing processes and take pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG TIG brazing and other welding processes on steel stainless steel copper and other alloys
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and work instructions
- Fabricate and assemble custom weldments and fixtures
- Set up and monitor welding equipment for proper operation
- Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity
- Grind deburr and finish materials as needed
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures calipers micrometers and height gauges
- Follow ASME standards and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Welding training from an accredited welding program preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Capability to pass ASME 6G weld certification
- Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred
- ASME welding experience and certifications are a plus
