As a Recovery Coordinator in our Croydon service youll be at the centre of someones recovery journey.
You wont just manage a caseloadyoull build relationships create trust and support people to move forward in ways that are meaningful to them.

The details
- Role: Recovery Coordinator (Opiate)
- Location: Croydon
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week*
- Contract: Permanent
Please note: Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.
*Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
What youll be doing
- Support individuals from first contact through to sustained recovery
- Deliver targeted interventionsone-to-one and group-based
- Develop and support recovery-focused detox pathways including preparation and aftercare
- Connect people into wider recovery networks community support and mutual aid
- Advocate for service users ensuring their voice is heard across services
- Support individuals to rebuild their lives strengthen resilience and regain independence
Who were looking for
Youre someone who combines professional skill with genuine care.
You bring:
- Experience supporting people affected by substance use
- Confidence building relationships and working with people at different stages of change
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams and partners
- A good understanding of mental health safeguarding and risk
- The ability to work independently while managing competing priorities
