About the role
Gartner is looking forwell-rounded software engineer to join the Gartners Peer Insights Team. You will be part ofhighlymotivated agile team driven by innovation and collaboration. As part ofPeerInsights and Product Technology team you will work on the high-performance web development environments usingcutting edgeweb technologies. You will work in a multi-cloud environment and use containerized pipelines for applications.
What you will do:
Develop high quality simple secureinnovativeand scalable technical solutions.
Assumeownership and take responsibility for successful delivery.
Comfortable working in a fast paced Agile/SCRUM environment.
Focus on Software quality and follow good software engineering practices
Activelyparticipatesand constantly explores opportunities for improvements.
Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.
What you will need:
Bachelors orMasters degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
3-4years of professional experience developing customer-facing web applications.
Experience in building and deploying complex scalable web applications and servicesdemonstratedas a Full Stack Developer withproficiencyin Java Spring (Spring Boot Spring JPA) React Typescript
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles software architecture and best practices.
Backend experience in buildingAPIsworking databases is.
Experience with responsive design and building applications across multiple platforms.
Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
Familiarity withElasticSearchValkey or othercaching/indexing technologies is a plus.
Experience designing fullstack interfaces.
Strong qualitative and quantitativeproblemsolvingskills.

Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 74000 USD - 116000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
