Sonitrol of Louisville a proud part of Pye-Barker has been a leader in the security industry for over 50 years. Due to our continued growth we have a position for a Security System Installer with a positive attitude. Were looking for full-time employees working 7:30-4:30 M-F installing security systems.

We provide commercial solutions for access control fire alarm CCTV and intrusion systems. No security industry experience is necessary but candidates must have the ability to work with power tools work on a ladder/lift and be good with their hands.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with power hand tools and working from a ladder/lift

• Ability to run wire and hang devices in a commercial environment

• Must have strong work ethic

• Have valid drivers license

• Participate in service on-call rotation with other technicians

• Be flexible to occasional weekend/2nd shift and out-of-town work

• Be able to follow directions and work independently and in a team setting

• Strong computer skills

Education/Qualification:

• A high school education or equivalent required.

• Some technical school training is a plus.

• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

• Ability to always operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner.

• Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Other Duties:

• Adheres to the Code of Conduct Confidentiality Agreement and Company Safety Policy.

• Adheres to attendance policies

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Maybe required to sit; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl.

• Must be able to walk and stand.

• Comfortable reaching climbing (ladder/stairs) and bending.

• Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
