Lutheran Hospital Outpatient Physical Therapy in the vibrant Ohio City area of Cleveland.
Outpatient Orthopedic experience preferred.

Schedule Expectations:
PRN hours will vary based on coverage needs.
The Department is open M-TH 7am 7pm. Friday 7am- 5pm
There will be opportunity to pick up additional hours at various Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy locations in the western suburbs and Lorain County.
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.

APRNcaregiver in this positionworksMonday - Friday No Weekends or Holidays The department is open 7:00AM - 7:00PM Monday - Thursday and 7:00AM - 5:00 PM Friday. This role provides coveragesupportand the schedule may adjust based on departmental needs and coverage availability.
That work would be from main campus west to Lorain Ohio. Including Lakewood YMCA Westlake Fairview Park Rocky River Avon Sheffield and Elyria.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients conditions.
Establishreviseand evaluate plans of care while involving the patient and/or their family.
Perform therapy interventions.
Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistantsstudentsand other caregivers.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
BachelorsDegree orCertificate
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
2 years of experience in a clinical area
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and climb stairs without assistive device and to maintain balance despite sudden load in order to support patient from falling.
- Ability to meet physical demands characterized at the heavy level defined by 1993 Leonard Matheson and Ministry of Labor.
- Ability to lift and reach with arms sufficiently to lift patients arm and leg during therapeutic treatment program.
- Sensation of touch and manual dexterity to be able to palpate muscle tension or to monitor patient pulse.
- Visual acuity to observe patients gross and fine motor movements in order to analyze these movements and to read all patient monitors.
- Ability to speak clearly enough to instruct patients and families.
- Ability to hear at a conversational level to understand patients description of symptoms and response to treatment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
