WhatYoullBe Doing

The Controllership group provides finance services to CIBCs businesses through effective governance and decision support processes. These services include financial management and regulatory reporting maintenance of accounting records financial analysis and planning tax planning and compliance treasury investorrelationsand regular reviews of business line performance.

As a Business Analyst you will be involved in Finances process improvement program development of new or existing Controllership Capital Markets and Wholesale Banking initiatives and assisting Middle Office analysts on maintaining existing processes and development of new reports and testing of new systems or databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. Depending on the project you may also provide support to Front Office Risk Management and Finance and interact with business partners (all levels). You will beparticipatingin team meetings and are also encouraged to provide input on improvement opportunities on existing processes.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary educationandreturning to full time studies after term to be eligible however you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for this role
