Primarily the Program Lead Consultant/Justice Clinical Education Coordinator (JCEC) under the direction of the Program Manager CBHS is responsible for researching and writing the provincial justice education training. The JCEC will develop six models and disseminate education across the province virtually. The JCEC will write a manuscript for the education program and publish the manual for distribution across the province. The JCEC will develop a Justice Developmental Disability Toolbox.
Contribute to safe quality care by
- The JCEC will develop promotional materials and a participant list to deliver education across the province.
- The JCEC will develop the six models and disseminate education across the province virtually.
- The JCEC will write a manuscript for the education program and publish the manual for distribution across the province.
- The JCEC will source out a publisher to format edit and publish the manual.
- The JCEC will develop a Justice Developmental Disability Toolbox including:
- One-page handouts
- Training videos on proper use of handouts
- Adhere to all ethics consent privacy and abuse-reporting laws and practice in alignment with legislation regulation standards of professional conduct and college-endorsed code of ethics.
- Provide supervision to the Program Consultants and Program Technicians one-on-one or in group settings under the oversight of the Clinical Supervisor.
- Adhere to administrative expectations (e.g. mileage billing budgeting monitoring schedules monitoring of service targets).
- Develop and provide training and education to internal staff and to external partner agencies.
- Collaborate effectively with community partners and other service providers.
- Participate in on-going supervision with Program Coordinator (CBHS).
- Other duties may be required depending on clinic or program.
- Masters Degree in a related field and is a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
- A valid province of Ontarios drivers license and access to a reliable and insured automobile for transportation to be used in the course of employment as travel across Central East is required.

- Advanced problem solving skills.
- Computer literacy in a Windows environment utilizing Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook at an advanced level.
- Proven attendance record.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others and demonstrates behaviours consistent with Mackenzie Healths Commitment to Caring.
- Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and taking on leadership opportunities that promote cross-sectoral collaboration and partnerships with minimal supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of the developmental services sector justice mental health addictions brain injury field family work and systems issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate understanding and comply with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
