A growing manufacturing business based in Sunbury-on-Thames is seeking an Electromechanical Production Technician to join its production and assembly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with electromechanical assembly experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Role
Working as part of the production team you will be responsible for the assembly testing and inspection of electromechanical products and systems to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electromechanical assembly and wiring
- Mechanical fitting and sub-assembly work
- Testing and fault-finding of completed units
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
- Supporting production builds to quality and delivery targets
- Maintaining accurate production and test documentation
- Assisting with continuous improvement activities within manufacturing
The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an electromechanical production or assembly role
- Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Experience using hand tools and test equipment
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- A proactive and team-oriented attitude
Desirable experience:
- Soldering or cable assembly
- Manufacturing or engineering environment experience
- IPC or relevant assembly certifications
