- Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license a temporary permit or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
In this role you will also:- Observe residents for changes in physical status mental status or behavior and reports significant changes.
- Prepare and administer medication and treatments in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Transcribe physicians orders and record medication and the patients condition in the medical records.
- Apply dressings ointments and other treatments as ordered and document the procedure.

Location: This position is located in theNursing Department of the Northeast LA Veterans Home in Monroe Louisiana.
Career Progression: This position may be filled as an LPN 1 2 or 3
Work Schedule: Day Shift (6:45a-7:15p)
Compensation:This position receives the following pay mechanisms:
The Special Entrance Rate:
Practical Nurse - Licensed 1 is $19.48
Practical Nurse - Licensed 2 is $20.84
Practical Nurse - Licensed 3 is $22.30
PREMIUM PAY(per HOUR physically worked):
$7.00 work incentive pay upon hire.
Shift Differential:This position qualifies for shift differentials with rates varying based on shift time day of the week and holidays..
