Safety Manager Commercial Construction - Danville PA

As a Safety Manager youll lead the charge in creating a safe compliant and productive work environment on a large-scale healthcare construction project. This role will support a major commercial construction project in Danville Pennsylvania. The Safety Manager will work closely with project leadership and trade partners to help maintain a safe and compliant work environment throughout all phases of construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite safety oversight for active construction operations
• Conduct site inspections audits and hazard assessments to ensure OSHA compliance and safe work practices
• Lead safety meetings toolbox talks and orientation support
• Assist with incident investigations corrective actions and safety documentation
• Partner closely with project teams subcontractors and field leadership to reinforce a proactive safety culture
• Support high-risk construction activities including material handling heavy equipment operations excavation overhead work and confined space activities

Qualifications

• 5 years of commercial construction safety experience preferred
• Previous healthcare hospital or large-scale commercial construction experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
• OSHA 500 required
• CPR/First Aid certification required
• CHST certification strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and field presence
