Job Description

We are seeking a passionate detail-oriented Test Analyst (API QA) to join our growing QA team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality API and backend testing across a diverse portfolio of software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business functional and technical requirements through rigorous testing and continuous ideal candidate is technically strong proactive and comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments. Flexibility is essential as this role supports global markets and may require collaboration across multiple time you thrive in a dynamic environment and take pride in delivering reliable high-quality systems wed love to hear from Duties and Responsibilities:Apply strong knowledge of quality assurance principles testing methodologies and software development lifecycles Review and analyze business and technical requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage for enhancements defect fixes and new features Perform API testing including request/response validation schema verification error handling and data integrity checks Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality performance and reliability Design write execute and maintain clear and reusable test cases Drive and promote best practices in test case design defect tracking test data preparation and reporting Collaborate with developers product owners and other stakeholders during project and sprint meetings Provide clear oral and written QA status updates including risks blockers and test results Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues Support investigation and resolution of defects found during testing and in production Evaluate existing QA processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and quality Work effectively both independently and as part of a team Perform other job-related duties as assigned by QA leadership or managementKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Solid experience in manual testing including test planning design execution analysis and documentationHands-on experience with API testing and automation tools such as Bruno Insomnia or PostmanWorking knowledge of automation concepts test scripting and reusable test frameworksExperience using SQL for database testing data validation and data analysisFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana Kafka and SplunkExperience with version control systems including Git and GitHubProficient in using JIRA for test management defect tracking and collaborationStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detailCreative solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to think beyond standard approachesSelf-motivated proactive and capable of managing tasks independentlyEnthusiastic continuous learner eager to adopt new tools systems and processesAdaptable and flexible able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong alignment with business goals ensuring QA activities support overall organizational successQUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years experience in Quality Assurance IndustryDegree or equivalent experience in area of Computer Science
