As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Council Bluffs IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as an unarmed patrol officer helping to monitor assigned areas through routine patrols visible presence and strong this role you will support security-related operations while delivering outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials when required and document security-related incidents maintenance concerns and/or policy-related violations according to site procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations by assisting with lobby coverage visitor direction and after-hours checks of doors gates and restricted areas as directed by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
